Important Privacy Announcement

As new data protection regulations came into effect in the European Union, several companies updated their privacy policy. At SurgicalPerformance we don’t need to because we never violated the ground rules of fair play.

These emails typically started like this: “We’re updating our Privacy Policy to make it easier for you to understand what information we collect and why we collect it.”

In essence, for Australian users of these services (e.g., Google, Facebook), the way your data is used doesn’t change, but it is better explained, more transparent.

This became necessary because customers’ personal information captured by these platforms was sold to third parties. In one instance, information from medical practitioners was sold to legal firms that allowed those legal firms to contact patients and encourage them to commence litigation against those doctors. Unbelievable but true.

At SurgicalPerformance, we do not need to update our privacy policy. Our primary loyalty has always been and will remain our surgeon users.

We have never and will never share, forward or sell identifiable information with or to any third party.

SurgicalPerformance is independent. We don’t report any identifiable information or potentially identifiable information to AHPRA, RANZCOG or RACS, banks, insurers, legal firms or anyone or any other entity.

That’s why we don’t need to update our privacy policy.
