We are thrilled to introduce the newest addition to our team, Kara Gadischke, who will be helping all our users with any questions or concerns they may have. She will also present monthly recommendations and tips, and she will be the face of SurgicalPerformance at the upcoming AGES Scientific conference from 2 – 4 March, 2017 in Sydney.
Kara has been a nurse since 2009, and she has lots of experience in the operating room. She first met Professor Andreas Obermair at Greenslopes Private Hospital, where she worked with him. She says he trained her and helped shape her into the best nurse she could be, and alongside him and his assistant, Robyn Huttenmeister, they made a great team.
Kara left Greenslopes Private Hospital in 2014 to go to Abu Dhabi, where she was involved in the opening of a world-class hospital in the Middle East, the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. There, she was trained exhaustively on an Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and was responsible for training and signoffs for staff.
She brings her medical technology experience along with her many years of assisting surgeons to SurgicalPerformance as our Customer Service Representative. Familiar with surgical terminology, understanding of surgeons’ needs and their lack of time, Kara is readily available to answer any questions, make recommendations, and help out with whatever you need. She can be contacted by email [email protected].
As SurgicalPerformance keeps growing, you will be seeing a lot more of her around, on our newsletters, website, and social media channels. Welcome, Kara!
