Patient reported outcomes means the measurement of any aspect of a patient’s health status that comes directly from the patient. In other words, without the interpretation of the patient’s responses by a specialist or anyone else.

Patient reported outcomes may cover areas of health-related quality of life, symptoms and side effects, their global impression with life satisfaction or quality-of-life, satisfaction with treatment, and treatment adherence.

Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) would be administered through a weblink that you would be able to send to the patient electronically. The patient would answer a few questions on their electronic device and send it back to your SurgicalPerformance account. There you should be able to not only check on your PROs but also compare your outcomes with the one of your peers.
